Greetings, and thank you for visiting my website. If you’re looking for a lawyer, you’ve encountered a problem and you need help. I created M. Chase Wells, PLLC to meet the needs of people in Haywood County and surrounding areas with skill, compassion, and attention to detail.
For six years, I practiced law with attorney Woodrow Griffin at Griffin Wells, P.A. (formerly known as Brown, Ward & Haynes, P.A.). During that time I built a reputation as a respected attorney in the courtroom, handling everything from estate disputes to elder law to traffic violations. Many problems require expertise in multiple areas of law and you need an attorney who is well-versed in each of them. A legal problem is never as simple as it appears, so it is my goal to help you understand it from every angle, not just a narrow piece of it.
I grew up in Murphy, North Carolina, and have always practiced in the Appalachian Mountains. In a small town, relationships matter. If I don’t know the answer to your question, I’ll get you to the person who does. When problems arise, burning bridges will get you nowhere, but having a relationship of trust and respect with other lawyers and community members will open up avenues to success.
So when you choose your lawyer, make sure you choose one who will listen to you, care about you, fight for you, and give you a full and honest assessment of your matter. I work with people, not cases.
